We are Blessed

We got some great news last week! Dennis applied for several teaching jobs in China because we felt that would be the best and easiest way to get a resident visa. The day after applying he heard back from 1 school and it was the international school that we were hoping Emily would attend! They arranged a phone interview and called at 4am on Monday! Luckily Dennis was awake; he couldn't sleep and got up 15 minutes prior to the call. We think God was there nudging him out of bed.

The phone call went well despite no coffee yet for Dennis, and they said they would be in touch. Well, the next day he received an email with a contract for employment and they also needed to know ASAP if Emily would be attending school there in the Fall. What an answer to prayer! Emily has been a little sad and nervous lately about moving but when she found out daddy would be teaching at her school, she screamed with excitement!

It gets even better though!! We will only have to pay about 1/10 of the regular tuition for Emily to attend there. That's not all; they are providing housing for us as well!! They would typically offer a 2 bedroom apartment for a family and when asked if we could pay the difference to have 3 bedrooms, they said they would provide it for free!!! We get all of this plus a salary for Dennis!

We feel blessed beyond measure and see this as another confirmation that God has called us to serve in China. I can't wait to see what he has in store for our family there!! Oh happy day!
